Getting started
Do I need prior chess experience?
No. Many students join as complete beginners. Classes are structured to teach chess from the basics, including rules, piece movement, board understanding, tactics, and gameplay fundamentals.
What levels or experience can join the academy?
We welcome students of all skill levels, from absolute beginners to advanced tournament players. Lessons are organized by progressive levels, allowing every learner to progress step-by-step in a highly supportive environment that builds focus, analytical skills, and competitive confidence.
Do you offer a trial chess class?
Yes. Students can attend a free trial class to experience the training style, learning environment, and structure before enrollment.
What happens during the trial class?
During the trial class, students participate in guided chess activities and interactive learning sessions. Students and parents can understand the teaching approach and class environment before joining.
How do I enroll in the academy?
You can contact us through phone, WhatsApp, or the inquiry form on the website to schedule a trial class and receive enrollment guidance.
Which plan is best for beginners?
Any plan. Knight, Rook and Queen are the same class with the same coach, so a beginner learns the same things on each. You only choose how often: 2 classes a week on Knight, 3 on Rook, or every day on Queen.
Do you teach adults?
Yes. Adults train in the same ten-level system in a dedicated adults-only batch, Tuesday to Saturday, 7:00–8:00 PM, from complete beginners to players preparing for rated events. See chess classes for adults in Surat.
What is the right age for a child to start?
Children start from age four and there is no upper age limit; most of our child beginners are between four and twelve. Older starters simply move through the first levels faster. See chess classes for kids in Surat.
